Apollo Hotzy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Mussauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rainer Laudan fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eutscheid's protests and gave Rainer Laudan a yellow card for diving instead. Apollo Hotzy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Jeske in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Leo Unger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apollo Hotzy. Grammersdorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Unger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Eutscheid were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Schaede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Leo Unger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apollo Hotzy. The goal made the score 0-3. The supporters of Eutscheid booed when Grammersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Stolle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apollo Hotzy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Jeske in the 63rd minute of play. At last the ball reached Palle Lamp at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Grammersdorf. 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Björn Schaede dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apollo Hotzy, 0-5. A collision led to Eutscheid getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Robin Mussauer hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Oliver Skutnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Fehr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Grammersdorf getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Clemens Giurgin hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Ingo Vogelsänger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eutscheid's zone, Raphael Hollersen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Fehr came out of the goal and Raphael Hollersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Steimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Fehr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Eutscheid's Robin Mussauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apollo Hotzy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robin Mussauer scored 0-6 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apollo Hotzy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Grammersdorf's Apollo Hotzy got control of the ball when Björn Schaede tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apollo Hotzy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Schaede in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Eutscheid left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grammersdorf.
