The Kürnach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Oliver Vüllings should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Rupert Nimako made a precise shot to the right of Lars Oliver Vüllings. Kürnach FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lars Oliver Vüllings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Beimler in the 29th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Conrad Sitzmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kürnach FC and the Tomsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kürnach FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. After 76 played minutes Tomsi got a freekick which was hit by Gottfried Jochimsen. After a rather tough play, Tomsi's Frederik van Essen got a free kick in the 78th minute. Kürnach FC's Mark Pätzold couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tomsi. In the 81st minute Rupert Nimako shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Oliver Vüllings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrad Sitzmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Volker Räder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Conrad Sitzmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kürnach FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Sitzmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Beimler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lars Oliver Vüllings made a huge save. The Tomsi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
