Seating: 1046, VIP seats: 4) Gabriel Mies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Livio Plotkowiak having to interfere. In the 9th minute Harald Kiehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Livio Plotkowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Elmendorf FSV getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ludo Gers hit a great ball. Gregor Bussler in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Livio Plotkowiak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Elmendorf FSV getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ludo Gers hit a great ball. Gregor Bussler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Livio Plotkowiak 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Gregor Bussler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Livio Plotkowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harald Kiehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eintracht Trier's goalkeeper Alexander Drobinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexander Drobinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezzo Kraft in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Ezzo Kraft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexander Drobinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Elmendorf FSV's Gottfried Klotz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gregor Bussler came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Livio Plotkowiak could save by the left post. David Stöwer charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Stöwer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, David Stöwer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Eintracht Trier getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gabriel Mies hit a great ball. With a little luck, Elmendorf FSV's Livio Plotkowiak got control of the ball when Gregor Bussler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Gregor Bussler made the kick off in the second half. Jorn Höhn struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alexander Drobinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elmendorf FSV. After 57 played minutes Elmendorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ludo Gers. When Eintracht Trier's Gregor Bussler in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elmendorf FSV's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Gregor Bussler put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Livio Plotkowiak. 66 minutes into the match, Jochen Wedig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Drobinski. Eintracht Trier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jochen Wedig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 69 played minutes Elmendorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Stehmer. In the 70thth minute of the game Gregor Bussler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elmendorf FSV's Livio Plotkowiak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Stöwer was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. David Stöwer kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Harald Kiehl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Livio Plotkowiak having to interfere. Eintracht Trier's Alexander Drobinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Trier from getting a goal against them. With 86 minutes on the clock, Ottmar Biedma commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th minute, one of Eintracht Trier:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eintracht Trier. In the 92nd minute Ezzo Kraft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Drobinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jochen Wedig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Drobinski having to interfere. Ezzo Kraft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
