Grammersdorf's Apollo Hotzy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Dumberger in the 6th minute of play. Conrad Sitzmann hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Dennis Dumberger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apollo Hotzy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Grammersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Skutnik to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Conrad Sitzmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kürnach FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Sitzmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kai Schuhmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Grammersdorf's zone, Conrad Sitzmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apollo Hotzy came out of the goal and Conrad Sitzmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Dumberger to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dennis Dumberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kürnach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Dumberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apollo Hotzy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gert Steimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Evrim Utzt fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kürnach FC's protests and gave Evrim Utzt a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes into the game, Grammersdorf's Raphael Hollersen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Oliver Vüllings made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lars Oliver Vüllings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Hollersen in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Jorck Balldorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Oliver Vüllings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kürnach FC defense, Jorck Balldorf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Oliver Vüllings. The Kürnach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Oliver Vüllings should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Hollersen in the 87th minute of play forced Kürnach FC's goalkeeper Lars Oliver Vüllings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Kürnach FC's Conrad Sitzmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apollo Hotzy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Kürnach FC's Gero Gerster got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
