Felix Horrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Nimako in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Sebastian Klomfaß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Rupert Nimako recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Horrer. Rupert Nimako showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Viktor Beimler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Felix Horrer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Michele Hamacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Volker Räder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Union Giesenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Nimako came free, but Felix Horrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Viktor Beimler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Beimler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Beimler got free with Felix Horrer in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rupert Nimako fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Horrer having to interfere. Gottfried Jochimsen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kim Auer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Rupert Nimako came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tomsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Nimako couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Tomsi's Rupert Nimako sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Horrer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Tomsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Höfner to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Elmar Küpper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volker Räder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rupert Nimako recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tomsi booed when Union Giesenhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Hertel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Beimler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Horrer having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michele Hamacher was the one to do the kick off. Union Giesenhausen's Felix Horrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Nimako in the 53rd minute of play. Klement Höfner's late challenge caught a Union Giesenhausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klement Höfner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Union Giesenhausen booed when Tomsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Höfner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Horrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Nimako, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Felix Horrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Nimako, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Rupert Nimako put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Felix Horrer.
