Adam Yost was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Viktor Beimler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Nimako received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adam Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Yost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Beimler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tomsi's Viktor Beimler got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomsi's Volker Räder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Jaspers in the 25th minute of play. Olav Freese kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Viktor Beimler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Yost having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Rupert Nimako managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Nimako was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rupert Nimako fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Yost having to interfere. SC Goodbye's Adam Yost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Nimako in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Klement Höfner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Viktor Beimler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volker Räder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folko Stober in the 54th minute of play. Klement Höfner kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gunnar Thumerer's late challenge caught a SC Goodbye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Thumerer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Goodbye booed when Tomsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Thumerer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Beimler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Adam Yost made a huge save. SC Goodbye's supporters rose to their feet, but Uri Kurth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volker Räder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes, Uri Kurth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Goodbye and the Tomsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Viktor Beimler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomsi played a much better game than SC Goodbye and deserved their victory. The SC Goodbye players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
