An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Steimer in the 46th minute of play forced FC Hohenfelde's goalkeeper Clark Seidel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Hollersen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Hollersen in the 56th minute of play forced FC Hohenfelde's goalkeeper Clark Seidel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Hollersen scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clark Seidel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Jupp Füngerlings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jupp Füngerlings got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jupp Füngerlings kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Uwe Stolle hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Maik Petry in the 73rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Apollo Hotzy's left hand side. After some careless play in the FC Hohenfelde defense, Gert Steimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clark Seidel. The FC Hohenfelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clark Seidel should have stopped the shot. Clark Seidel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Steimer in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Oliver Skutnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Seidel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Oliver Skutnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
