When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Rupert Nimako took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jukka Rausch to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th minute, Gunnar Thumerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jukka Rausch didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Jukka Rausch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Beimler's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Volker Räder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Gunawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Julius Wochele's late challenge caught a Tomsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Wochele helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Ballkünstler SV got a freekick which was hit by Julius Wochele. Rupert Nimako received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jukka Rausch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Rupert Nimako who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballkünstler SV's Jukka Rausch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Beimler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Tomsi's Rupert Nimako ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jukka Rausch. Jukka Rausch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Rigo Schollmeyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Volker Räder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volker Räder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Gunawan in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ballkünstler SV's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Nimako came free, but Jukka Rausch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Gismund Amberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Tomsi got a corner. Ballkünstler SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gunnar Thumerer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gunnar Thumerer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jukka Rausch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 48th minute, Rupert Nimako fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigo Schollmeyer was the one to do the kick off. Tomsi's Volker Räder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigo Schollmeyer in the 53rd minute of play. Rupert Nimako sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Gottfried Jochimsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jukka Rausch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Viktor Beimler came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tomsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Beimler couldn't finish the play. Tomsi's Rupert Nimako got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nico Gunawan came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ballkünstler SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Gunawan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ballkünstler SV booed when Tomsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Höfner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomsi's Rupert Nimako got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Gottfried Jochimsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tomsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballkünstler SV the free kick. The audience was convinced that Viktor Beimler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jukka Rausch was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Rupert Nimako came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tomsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Nimako couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ballkünstler SV defense, Viktor Beimler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jukka Rausch. The Ballkünstler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jukka Rausch should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Nimako in the 96th minute of play forced Ballkünstler SV's goalkeeper Jukka Rausch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Beimler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jukka Rausch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Tomsi were the better team. Tomsi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
