Alto Polenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Goepel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Bell in the 6th minute of play forced Osmecke's goalkeeper Esra Töpper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Scholl charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Scholl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zellprojekt getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ben Scholl hit a great ball. When Janko Wiesmet came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Osmecke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janko Wiesmet couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Jörg Bell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esra Töpper. Osmecke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörg Bell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute Ibrahim Voßhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esra Töpper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Janko Wiesmet in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Ibrahim Voßhoff fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zellprojekt's protests and gave Ibrahim Voßhoff a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Ibrahim Voßhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Zellprojekt's zone, Alto Polenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Goepel came out of the goal and Alto Polenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albo Mühlichen lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Zellprojekt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 47 minutes into the match, Zellprojekt's goalkeeper Jan Goepel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alto Polenz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Weidemeier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alto Polenz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Osmecke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alto Polenz couldn't finish the play. Jan Goepel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alto Polenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Osmecke's Janko Wiesmet made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Goepel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67thth minute of the game Janko Wiesmet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zellprojekt's Jan Goepel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Goepel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Janko Wiesmet went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Osmecke getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Wolf Schuh hit a great ball. Tom Krei's late challenge caught a Osmecke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Krei helped the player get up and apologised. Janko Wiesmet might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Goepel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janko Wiesmet ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan Goepel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janko Wiesmet in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Osmecke booed when Zellprojekt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Stolzenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmecke's Focko Jani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zellprojekt. Alto Polenz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jan Goepel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osmecke. In the 93rd minute Janko Wiesmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Goepel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmecke's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
