Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Otis Mauthe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hirschholm's Kurt Grübe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otis Mauthe in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Derek Siebert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odo Petershagen skillfully saved the ball. When Hirschholm's Edgar Holtmann in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiekbusch's goalie prevented a goal. Tim Evertz's late challenge caught a Kiekbusch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Evertz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Tim Evertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otis Mauthe in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Grübe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Gerd Gill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kurt Grübe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Holtmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Kiekbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otis Mauthe to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Holtmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Bieling struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Odo Petershagen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hirschholm.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Holtmann to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hirschholm getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Raik Kuhr hit a great ball. Otis Mauthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Grübe having to interfere. Kiekbusch's Gerd Gill got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgar Holtmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Bieling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hirschholm's Edgar Holtmann in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Odo Petershagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Holtmann in the 81st minute of the match. When Otis Mauthe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kiekbusch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otis Mauthe couldn't finish the play. Tim Evertz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Odo Petershagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
