Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar Holtmann made the kick off which started today's match. Reto Schindler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Grübe having to interfere. Günther Rossmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Holtmann's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Reto Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kurt Grübe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hirschholm booed when Lambsheim Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Fassbinder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Bieling might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Günther Rossmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Bieling ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Holtmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Rossmann having to make a save. Wolfgang Schumacher hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Günther Rossmann acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raik Kuhr. Hirschholm's Kurt Grübe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reto Schindler in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tim Evertz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Günther Rossmann. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th minute, Stefan Schavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lambsheim Lions's Wolfgang Schumacher got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Wolfgang Schumacher off the ground. A collision led to Lambsheim Lions getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Wolfgang Schumacher hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Hirschholm got a corner. Lambsheim Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raik Kuhr ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Lambsheim Lions getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Reto Schindler hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Bieling got free with Günther Rossmann in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Hirschholm's Simon Bieling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Günther Rossmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar Holtmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Lambsheim Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Holtmann came free, but Günther Rossmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bieling's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 49thth minute, Günther Rossmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Montgomery Drechsel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hirschholm's Simon Bieling in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lambsheim Lions's goalie prevented a goal. Erich Fassbinder's late challenge caught a Hirschholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erich Fassbinder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Lambsheim Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Fassbinder to maneuver through the defense. Lambsheim Lions's Günther Rossmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Holtmann in the 57th minute of play. If Simon Bieling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Günther Rossmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bieling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Bastian Storch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hirschholm and the Lambsheim Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Edgar Holtmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hirschholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Holtmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günther Rossmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Bieling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hirschholm walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
