With a little luck, Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's Guido Spörer got control of the ball when Montgomery Drechsel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reto Schindler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Spörer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Guido Spörer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reto Schindler, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Lambsheim Lions's Montgomery Drechsel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Spörer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Florian Arenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Rossmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Montgomery Drechsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montgomery Drechsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Guido Spörer made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's zone, Reto Schindler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Spörer came out of the goal and Reto Schindler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Arenz in the 33rd minute of play forced Lambsheim Lions's goalkeeper Günther Rossmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilja Schaper hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Florian Arenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Rossmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reto Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Guido Spörer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lambsheim Lions's Montgomery Drechsel got a free kick in the 58th minute. Viktor Rossmanith kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Günther Rossmann was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marko Ebenfeld. When Ilja Schaper fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's protests and gave Ilja Schaper a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Graf Bernhard zur Lippe got a freekick which was hit by Ilja Schaper. After a defensive mix-up in Lambsheim Lions's zone, Ilja Schaper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günther Rossmann came out of the goal and Ilja Schaper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Leif Schwartau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lambsheim Lions and the Graf Bernhard zur Lippe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leif Schwartau kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Günther Rossmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Arenz in the 77th minute of the match. Montgomery Drechsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Guido Spörer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lambsheim Lions's Günther Rossmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Arenz in the 98th minute of play. The Graf Bernhard zur Lippe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lambsheim Lions from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
