After a defensive mix-up in Lambsheim Lions's zone, Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günther Rossmann came out of the goal and Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reto Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Rivoir got free with Günther Rossmann in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lambsheim Lions getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Wolfgang Schumacher hit a great ball. Günther Rossmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Rivoir's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Günther Rossmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Rossmanith during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Viktor Rossmanith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Brengelmann hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Lambsheim Lions's Reto Schindler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Barnick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly's late challenge caught a Lambsheim Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lambsheim Lions booed when Oedheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Rivoir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Rossmann having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Erich Fassbinder hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lambsheim Lions's Wolfgang Schumacher got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Rossmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Rossmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rivoir, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Montgomery Drechsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Rossmann having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Stefan Schavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lambsheim Lions's goalkeeper Günther Rossmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Reto Schindler came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Lambsheim Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reto Schindler couldn't finish the play. Günther Rossmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Rivoir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Günther Rossmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oedheim. A collision led to Lambsheim Lions getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Niko Lahann hit a great ball. Ferdinand Rivoir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Rossmann having to interfere. Ferdinand Rivoir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Rossmann having to make a save. Leif Brengelmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Günther Rossmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Oedheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasimir Wiedenroth-Coulibaly couldn't finish the play. Oedheim were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
