Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dolf Mölleken kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Albrechts booed when FC Liverpool JR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Hornig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Gerald Grünberger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kurt Hutwelker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josef Pofalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Kipp, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Josef Pofalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Kipp's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Gerald Grünberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Albrechts's zone, Thoralf Hecker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Hutwelker came out of the goal and Thoralf Hecker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, René Borkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Liverpool JR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albrechts the free kick. René Borkowski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Gerald Grünberger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kurt Hutwelker. The goal made the score 2-0. Gerald Grünberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Gerald Grünberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes Albrechts got a freekick which was hit by Hellmut Sasse. After some careless play in the Albrechts defense, Dolf Mölleken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Hutwelker. The Albrechts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Hutwelker should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Albrechts's Manuel Kipp got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Gerlach Brachmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dolf Mölleken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kurt Hutwelker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Dolf Mölleken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Gerald Grünberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hutwelker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Manuel Kipp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albrechts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. FC Liverpool JR's Josef Pofalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Kipp in the 87th minute of play. Thoralf Hecker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, FC Liverpool JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by René Borkowski to maneuver through the defense. Josef Pofalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Kipp in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Liverpool JR had played much better football throughout.
