Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eidur Cramer got the match started through his kick off. When Kayhauserfeld's Markus Burke in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Markus Burke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kayhauserfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Burke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Odenthal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kayhauserfeld's Florian Dinar in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Burke in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Odenthal saved Mount Ararat from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Mount Ararat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Schwedt to maneuver through the defense. Markus Burke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Georg Odenthal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Dinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Dinar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Odenthal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Dinar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mount Ararat! The referee gave Kayhauserfeld a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomasz Gönner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mount Ararat's Georg Odenthal. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Burke to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Burke might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Odenthal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Burke ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Arp Huthmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kai Battenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Georg Odenthal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Markus Burke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. The supporters of Kayhauserfeld booed when Mount Ararat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hauke Danielzick didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Markus Burke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Burke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Georg Odenthal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Mount Ararat's Pascal Rösch was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes into the game, Tomasz Gönner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayhauserfeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Ararat the free kick. Markus Burke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Dinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Dinar in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Odenthal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
