Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elmar Ernst kicked off to start the match. Eugen Glowaczs short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Peer Türke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peer Türke was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Elmar Ernst capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmar Ernst really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sven Heil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Richard Kurth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Glowacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Türke having to interfere. Konstantin Kuczinski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Samon Walz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Kurth skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Bertil Reffelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Eusebio Maisch notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fc Frankenhain's Richard Kurth. Richard Kurth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Elmar Ernst reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peer Türke. The goal made the score 2-1. Elmar Ernst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Türke having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven Heil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eugen Glowacz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 played minutes Fc Frankenhain got a freekick which was hit by Valérien von Puttkammer. In the 66th match minute, Fc Frankenhain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Reffelmann to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Demetrius Szeimies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SuS Bad Westernkotten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Frankenhain the free kick. In the 71st match minute, SuS Bad Westernkotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrius Szeimies to maneuver through the defense. If Eugen Glowacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertil Reffelmann was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of SuS Bad Westernkotten booed when Fc Frankenhain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Reffelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Frankenhain's Richard Kurth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Frankenhain from getting a goal against them. SuS Bad Westernkotten's Sven Heil got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sven Heil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eusebio Maisch came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SuS Bad Westernkotten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Maisch couldn't finish the play. Fc Frankenhain's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Sven Heil scored to the left of an out of position Richard Kurth, making the score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
