Abgunst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richart Bunje was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dustin Haug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Albert Westrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abgunst's Richart Bunje suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Thomas Kloos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lutter's protests and gave Thomas Kloos a yellow card for diving instead. Abgunst's Martin Lack was substituted for Richart Bunje. A collision led to Lutter getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Thomas Kloos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dustin Haug got free with Albert Westrich in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abgunst's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
