Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hövelhof FSV's Marek Adasch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mark Sturz charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Sturz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Mark Sturz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes fc gabar got a freekick which was hit by Sepp Gatzke. Friedrich Gotthard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jörn Roth made a huge save. Friedrich Gotthard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jörn Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Friedrich Gotthard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Roth having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Adasch in the 28th minute of play forced fc gabar's goalkeeper Jörn Roth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Adasch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jörn Roth came out and tried to block the shot, but Marek Adasch slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. If Marek Adasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Adasch in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörn Roth saved fc gabar from getting behind. Jörn Roth made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Friedrich Gotthard sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, fc gabar's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Adasch came free, but Jörn Roth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Theurer to make the kick off. Jörn Roth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Adasch in the 54th minute of play. Reinhard Rösel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Mark Sturz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 66 minutes, Reinhard Rösel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc gabar and the Hövelhof FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hövelhof FSV's Daniel Zötzsche got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jörn Roth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Gotthard in the 80th minute of the match. If Friedrich Gotthard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hövelhof FSV's Luca Huthmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Theurer in the 89th minute of play. Friedrich Gotthard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jörn Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marek Adasch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Roth having to interfere.
