He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kayhauserfeld reached it. Florian Dinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Richard Kurth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Frankenhain's goalkeeper Richard Kurth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fc Frankenhain's Eugen Glowacz got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Elmar Ernst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markus Burke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fc Frankenhain booed when Kayhauserfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joschi Müller didn't get a good kick on the ball.
