Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Glenn Sell got the match started through his kick off. Georg Odenthal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Sell in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Elard Glaser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Ararat's zone, Glenn Sell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Odenthal came out of the goal and Glenn Sell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mount Ararat getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Markus Schwedt hit a great ball. Sami Gallois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Georg Odenthal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Sell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Odenthal having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Elard Glaser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Ararat and the Catterfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Mount Ararat got a freekick which was hit by Elard Glaser. After 18 played minutes Catterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Onno Heimeier. Glenn Sell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eidur Cramer in the 32nd minute of play forced Catterfeld's goalkeeper Hans Metzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Metzner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eidur Cramer, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute, Sami Gallois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glenn Sell struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Georg Odenthal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catterfeld. After 44 played minutes Mount Ararat got a freekick which was hit by Elard Glaser. Sami Gallois took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Odenthal. Georg Odenthal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eidur Cramer to make the kick off. Sami Gallois struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Georg Odenthal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catterfeld. After a defensive mix-up in Catterfeld's zone, Eidur Cramer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Metzner came out of the goal and Eidur Cramer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eidur Cramer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Metzner having to interfere. Catterfeld's Hans Metzner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arp Huthmann in the 60th minute of play. When Sami Gallois, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Georg Odenthal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sami Gallois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Georg Odenthal made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Sami Gallois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Catterfeld's Glenn Sell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Sami Gallois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Odenthal having to interfere. When Markus Schwedt fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mount Ararat's protests and gave Markus Schwedt a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Mount Ararat got a freekick which was hit by Markus Schwedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Sell in the 83rd minute of play forced Mount Ararat's goalkeeper Georg Odenthal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Gallois got free with Georg Odenthal in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glenn Sell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catterfeld's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
