Mount Ararat's supporters rose to their feet, but Eidur Cramer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peer Türke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mount Ararat's Georg Odenthal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Maisch in the 18th minute of play. Eusebio Maisch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Odenthal having to interfere. Oswald Nagies struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Georg Odenthal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuS Bad Westernkotten. Arp Huthmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Türke having to interfere. Eusebio Maisch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
