Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the game, Gernot Kohlmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neunhards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catterfeld the free kick. In the 8th minute, Gernot Kohlmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Sell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crispin Buckmüller having to interfere. Jakob Flachsbarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hans Metzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sami Gallois's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Crispin Buckmüller firmly grabbed it by the left post. Christo Nonnenmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Metzner having to interfere. During the 30th minute of the match Gernot Kohlmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gernot Kohlmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 30th match minute, Neunhards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernot Kohlmann to maneuver through the defense. Sami Gallois's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Crispin Buckmüller skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Neunhards's Helmut Stange got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Sami Gallois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Jakob Flachsbarth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neunhards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Flachsbarth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Glenn Sell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crispin Buckmüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Metzner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Flachsbarth in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Jakob Flachsbarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Metzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Flachsbarth to strike the kick off in the second half. Till Hohlfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Metzner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jakob Flachsbarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Flachsbarth in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Metzner saved Catterfeld from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Flachsbarth in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Metzner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Onno Heimeier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Crispin Buckmüller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute of the match, Jakob Flachsbarth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Metzner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Neunhards's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Catterfeld had won, even though Neunhards had held more of the ball.
