Mark Sturz's late challenge caught a Kayhauserfeld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With his leg Luca Huthmann managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Kayhauserfeld's Florian Dinar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Friedrich Gotthard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes, Safet Kohlstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hövelhof FSV and the Kayhauserfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luca Huthmann made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Florian Dinar sent off a good shot on target. Kai Battenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Gotthard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedrich Gotthard in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Battenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hövelhof FSV's goalkeeper Luca Huthmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kayhauserfeld's Kai Battenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Gotthard in the 94th minute of play. Friedrich Gotthard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kayhauserfeld eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
