Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mats Leyh kicked off to start the match. Lutter's Albert Westrich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lutter from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tony Theurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc gabar's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Theurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Westrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Sebastian Polenski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc gabar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lutter the free kick. In the 18th match minute, fc gabar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Polenski to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastian Polenski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, fc gabar's Sebastian Polenski got a free kick in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Amir Recht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörn Roth. fc gabar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amir Recht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amir Recht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sepp Gatzke fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc gabar's protests and gave Sepp Gatzke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Sepp Gatzke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Bahr came free in the 50th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jörn Roth, but to the joy of fc gabar's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out.

The wind increased when Uri Erler made the kick off in the second half. Jörn Roth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Leyh in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Uri Erler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc gabar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uri Erler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Hoefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lutter's zone, Uri Erler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Westrich came out of the goal and Uri Erler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uri Erler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Albert Westrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uri Erler came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the fc gabar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uri Erler couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Lutter got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Kloos. After 80 played minutes fc gabar got a freekick which was hit by Uri Erler. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaroslaw Isele during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lutter getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jaroslaw Isele hit a great ball. Mats Leyh struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jörn Roth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lutter. Mats Leyh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörn Roth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of fc gabar booed when Lutter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bahr didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lutter walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
