Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucio Hamm started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Westhoven FC booed when Mittelmeiderich FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Rammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mittelmeiderich FC's Arian Lafontaine got control of the ball when Gil Remus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Gerold Stieglitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Lafontaine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattis Schlode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Hamm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregor Mitsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucio Hamm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oliver Neumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arian Lafontaine had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Viktor Keirath from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rouven Kästle kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sven Heidsiek struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mattis Schlode didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mittelmeiderich FC. After 29 minutes of play, Mittelmeiderich FC's Sven Heidsiek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattis Schlode was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mittelmeiderich FC's Arian Lafontaine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Mittelmeiderich FC from getting a goal against them. After 67 played minutes Mittelmeiderich FC got a freekick which was hit by Perry Ackermann. Sven Heidsiek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Mattis Schlode when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Oliver Neumann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westhoven FC and the Mittelmeiderich FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Neumann hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gil Remus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arian Lafontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westhoven FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Mitsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasimir Kwiatkowski in the 92nd minute of play forced Westhoven FC's goalkeeper Mattis Schlode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Westhoven FC's goalkeeper Mattis Schlode had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Heidsiek.
