Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduard Stein made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Blockmann in the 4th minute of play forced Ochtersum's goalkeeper Remo Marks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Otze booed when Ochtersum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Elser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Hansjörg Blockmann made a precise shot to the right of Remo Marks. Ochtersum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Otze booed when Ochtersum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ali Hasebrink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Stein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Stein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Schindler having to interfere. Claus Neumann's late challenge caught a Ochtersum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claus Neumann helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Otze's Claus Neumann got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Otze's Jimmy Schindler got control of the ball when Eidur Künkler tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Otze booed when Ochtersum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ali Hasebrink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otze's Claus Neumann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ochtersum. Eidur Künkler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eidur Künkler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Jimmy Schindler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eduard Stein received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jimmy Schindler came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduard Stein slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slavko Schönert during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Otze getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Slavko Schönert hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Ochtersum's Eduard Stein dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hansjörg Blockmann to make the kick off. A collision led to Otze getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Oliver Ueding hit a great ball. Ochtersum's Eduard Stein got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claus Neumann kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ochtersum's Hjalmar Mantel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimmy Schindler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 58 minutes, Eidur Künkler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ochtersum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eidur Künkler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Eduard Stein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Schindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Stein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Stein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Eidur Künkler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ochtersum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Eduard Stein notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Otze's Jimmy Schindler. Jimmy Schindler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remo Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjörg Blockmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eidur Künkler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Schindler having to interfere. Eidur Künkler struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jimmy Schindler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochtersum.
