The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Giese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Hilker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Axel Giese had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Bion. Cem United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Giese was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arthur Haubold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Schwickerath, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Cem United's Mayk Seckel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Daniel Schwickerath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Daniel Schwickerath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Haubold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Giese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Bion having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Kevin Hilker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cem United's Karl Bion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl Bion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Heising, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Giese to make the kick off. Wissersheim's Arthur Haubold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Schwickerath in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Kevin Hilker made a precise shot to the right of Karl Bion. Cem United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ulrich Heising kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Viktor Obermann lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Norbert Pahlmann placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 69 minutes into the match, Kilian Geenen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Wissersheim's Arthur Haubold. Arthur Haubold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axel Giese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Karl Bion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Wissersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Schwickerath came free, but Arthur Haubold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Kevin Hilker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl Bion. The goal made the score 2-3. Tommaso Landgraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulrich Heising received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Karl Bion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Haubold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Geenen in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Wissersheim's Ulrich Heising dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When the match was over Wissersheim could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cem United throughout the match.
