Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Saar FC's York Uken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saar FC's goalkeeper Silvester Beike, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Bleicher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Achterberg having to interfere. Silvester Beike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ringo Krebs in the 16th minute of the match. Falko Fürderer made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sikilaçi sk's Stefan Rentsch. 24 minutes into the match, Ringo Krebs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvester Beike. Saar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ringo Krebs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Kurt Litau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sikilaçi sk the free kick. Robbie Achterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkmar Nussbaum in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ringo Krebs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Beike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Hannes Borgwardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Ringo Krebs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvester Beike was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Sikilaçi sk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Robbie Achterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from York Uken in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Erich Anfahrt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Volkmar Nussbaum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robbie Achterberg. Sikilaçi sk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Volkmar Nussbaum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rolf Nowak charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Nowak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Sikilaçi sk got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Nowak. Ulf Repplinger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Achterberg. Sikilaçi sk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Sikilaçi sk booed when Saar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erk Baur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Rentsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-2 when York Uken sped through Sikilaçi sk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robbie Achterberg. Sikilaçi sk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timo Willmann in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Timo Willmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvester Beike quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 93 minutes into the match, Joakim Brünemann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvester Beike, 2-3.
