Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Dresden Kappu's Chris Bentz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hasso Johannsen charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasso Johannsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes SC Dresden Kappu got a freekick which was hit by Hasso Johannsen. In the 9th minute, Anselm Nagat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Witold Heimrath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gottlieb Dilling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Bentz in the 12th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Gottlieb Dilling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Chris Bentz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gottlieb Dilling. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gottlieb Dilling should have stopped the shot. Gottlieb Dilling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Schenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Mölleken having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, SC Dresden Kappu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Schoettle to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Schenk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Mölleken having to make a save. Anselm Nagat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Galatasaray's Gottlieb Dilling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Bentz in the 32nd minute of play. If Erkan Zweig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when SC Dresden Kappu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Bentz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Bentz in the 38th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Gottlieb Dilling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erkan Zweig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gottlieb Dilling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselm Nagat to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galatasaray's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witold Heimrath was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Dresden Kappu's players had a chance to rest. After 45 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Niko Pirkner.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Schenk made a kick off. Erkan Zweig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gottlieb Dilling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Chris Bentz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gottlieb Dilling. The audience was convinced that Erkan Zweig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gottlieb Dilling was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Gottlieb Dilling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Zweig, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gottlieb Dilling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Zweig, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gottlieb Dilling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Bentz in the 74th minute of the match. If Ralf Schenk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erkan Zweig came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Dresden Kappu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erkan Zweig couldn't finish the play. Gottlieb Dilling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Bentz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Niko Pirkner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Dresden Kappu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
