Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oswald Stamm kicked off to start the match. If Volkmar Nussbaum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benni Ostmeyer in the 9th minute of play forced FC Meder's goalkeeper Neo Berneking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neo Berneking showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from York Uken, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Silvester Beike made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feddo Jokerst in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benni Ostmeyer sped through FC Meder's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Neo Berneking. In the 23rd minute, Benni Ostmeyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Meder's Hubertus Bauer got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benni Ostmeyer in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neo Berneking prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Benni Ostmeyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neo Berneking was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Silvester Beike came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Meder's Eggert Aumüller. But to his dismay, Eggert Aumüller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Oswald Stamm kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, FC Meder's Kasper Canaris seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kasper Canaris the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Meder protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kasper Canaris had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th minute, Kasper Canaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neo Berneking came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saar FC's Volkmar Nussbaum. But to his dismay, Volkmar Nussbaum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Saar FC's Johannes-Paul Stiller managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gottlieb Lemke in the 46 minute of the game. In the 46thth minute of the game Benni Ostmeyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Meder's Neo Berneking was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benni Ostmeyer in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neo Berneking prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Meder players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saar FC were winning 1-2.

A collision led to FC Meder getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Oswald Stamm hit a great ball. Volkmar Nussbaum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benni Ostmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes FC Meder got a freekick which was hit by Hubertus Bauer. Benni Ostmeyer's late challenge caught a FC Meder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benni Ostmeyer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Benni Ostmeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neo Berneking made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes-Paul Stiller in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benni Ostmeyer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Neo Berneking. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. Neo Berneking showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from York Uken, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Silvester Beike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eggert Aumüller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Stockhausen took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neo Berneking. Neo Berneking dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Benni Ostmeyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Neo Berneking made a huge save. Neo Berneking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from York Uken in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Eggert Aumüller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Beike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benni Ostmeyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Neo Berneking made a huge save. The supporters of Saar FC booed when FC Meder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswald Stamm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC Meder's goalkeeper Neo Berneking had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benni Ostmeyer. Volkmar Nussbaum received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neo Berneking came out and tried to block the shot, but Volkmar Nussbaum slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 96th minute. Saar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
