With a little luck, SC Dresden Kappu's Karl Mölleken got control of the ball when Walter Jacobs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Friedrich Wellenreuther could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Karl Mölleken made a huge save. In the 10thth minute of the game Walter Jacobs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Dresden Kappu's Karl Mölleken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hools Dynamo 53's Karim Pitsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkan Zweig in the 12th minute of play. Walter Jacobs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Mölleken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Friedrich Wellenreuther got free with Karl Mölleken in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Bonaventura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Mölleken. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Chris Bentz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Dresden Kappu's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Bentz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Pitsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Friedrich Wellenreuther got free with Karl Mölleken in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in SC Dresden Kappu's zone, Walter Jacobs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Mölleken came out of the goal and Walter Jacobs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hools Dynamo 53 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Felix Hens hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Hools Dynamo 53's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bentz came free, but Karim Pitsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Pitsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Sascha Schoettle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 75th minute, Erkan Zweig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karim Pitsch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Erkan Zweig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karim Pitsch came out and tried to block the shot, but Erkan Zweig slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. Karim Pitsch acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Witold Heimrath. Karim Pitsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Bentz in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Friedrich Wellenreuther got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Friedrich Wellenreuther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Dresden Kappu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
