SPVGG FFM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uwe Hofmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tus Untereschbach's Ferit Schied got control of the ball when Wilfried Lukas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Biege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Scheufens having to interfere. Achim Scheufens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Biege in the 94th minute of play. Tus Untereschbach were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
