Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cybertracht's Thorsten Högg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Manfred Priesmeier in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hagelskamp FSV's Berthold Quick. After a defensive mix-up in Cybertracht's zone, Manfred Hospelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Künast came out of the goal and Manfred Hospelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Thorsten Högg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Hammermüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Otten in the 19th minute of play forced Hagelskamp FSV's goalkeeper Paul Hammermüller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Thorsten Högg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Hammermüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Gottlieb Riechel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cybertracht's Markus Künast played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goran Stahl in the 43rd minute of play. Merten Brunkhorst scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Hammermüller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfred Hospelt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paul Hammermüller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merten Brunkhorst in the 62nd minute. Merten Brunkhorst came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paul Hammermüller could save by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, Hagelskamp FSV's goalkeeper Paul Hammermüller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merten Brunkhorst. With a little luck, Hagelskamp FSV's Paul Hammermüller got control of the ball when Merten Brunkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Hammermüller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottlieb Riechel in the 70th minute of the match. If Willi Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Künast showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Hospelt in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hagelskamp FSV's Paul Hammermüller got control of the ball when Merten Brunkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 99th minute, Cybertracht got a penalty, and Max Wefers placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cybertracht walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
