Matthias Markus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Stager's late challenge caught a Cybertracht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Stager helped the player get up and apologised. Hans Manthey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Otten in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Cybertracht getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hermann Scheiff hit a great ball. Milenko Zimmer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Markus Künast firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th minute, Merten Brunkhorst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Manthey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthias Markus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markus Künast. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Markus was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Silvano Schweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorsten Högg in the 55th minute of play forced Wenzingen FSV's goalkeeper Hans Manthey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Matthias Markus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Künast was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Matthias Markus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Künast. Cybertracht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Markus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Markus in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Künast prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moritz Otten struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Hans Manthey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cybertracht. The audience was convinced that Matthias Markus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Künast was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Silvano Schweer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Künast read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. When Wenzingen FSV's Matthias Markus in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cybertracht's goalie prevented a goal. After 90 minutes, Matthias Markus made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cybertracht's Markus Künast tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Wenzingen FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
