The tension between the Cybertracht and the Butteldorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Cybertracht got a freekick which was hit by Hermann Scheiff. Markus Künast showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Josten, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Jakob Fabisch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Künast saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Max Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Cybertracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moritz Otten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorsten Högg in the 46th minute of play forced Butteldorf's goalkeeper Lothar Miller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothar Miller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merten Brunkhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thorsten Högg made a kick off. The supporters of Cybertracht booed when Butteldorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Hertel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrad Gantenbrink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Künast having to interfere. Gottlieb Riechel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Ralph Josten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butteldorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Josten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Butteldorf's Jakob Fabisch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Künast made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, Butteldorf's goalkeeper Lothar Miller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merten Brunkhorst. In the 75th minute of the match Dirk Hertel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Künast showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ralph Josten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Künast didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralph Josten went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Cybertracht getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Gottlieb Riechel hit a great ball. Butteldorf walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
