Paul Hammermüller came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023's Toni Nissen. But to his dismay, Toni Nissen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hagelskamp FSV's Goran Stahl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wolffram Evers in the 16 minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Manfred Hospelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Hagelskamp FSV's goalkeeper Paul Hammermüller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Buchta. Paul Hammermüller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Schubeus in the 25th minute of play. Marc Schubeus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. The supporters of Hagelskamp FSV booed when VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Schubeus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunter Paulus to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Hammermüller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Buchta in the 54th minute of play. Götz Pechmann hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hagelskamp FSV's Paul Hammermüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunter Paulus in the 56th minute of play. If Toni Nissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Hagelskamp FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Gunter Paulus came free, but Paul Hammermüller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Wolffram Evers hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Nissen in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Hammermüller saved Hagelskamp FSV from getting behind. Hagelskamp FSV's Paul Hammermüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Schubeus in the 79th minute of play. VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Schubeus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Hammermüller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolffram Evers got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marc Schubeus. Gunter Paulus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Hammermüller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Buchta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunter Paulus took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Hammermüller. Paul Hammermüller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 92 minutes into the game, Anton Buchta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Paul Hammermüller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
