After a rather tough play, Teichlosen FSV's Rico Götze got a free kick in the 21st minute. Oliver Petek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang Nacke having to interfere. Wolfgang Nacke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Horsch in the 26th minute of the match. Marcel Scheffczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Leopold Zenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 49th minute Moringen FC were awarded a corner. Quincy Holzapfel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Quincy Holzapfel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wolfgang Nacke quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Horsch made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Moringen FC's Oliver Petek got a free kick in the 58th minute. Wolfgang Nacke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaus Maringer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Horsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wolfgang Nacke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Moringen FC's Oliver Petek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolfgang Nacke was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Teichlosen FSV getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Boris Korell hit a great ball. With a little luck, Teichlosen FSV's Wolfgang Nacke got control of the ball when Oliver Petek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Holger Struck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Petek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Theo Horsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Heribert Vonderlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teichlosen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moringen FC the free kick. In the 92nd minute, one of Teichlosen FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Teichlosen FSV. Quincy Holzapfel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the final whistle sounded Moringen FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Teichlosen FSV.
