Abdelaziz Moos struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jens Flaht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schkölen. After 7 played minutes Enkelstrotort got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Jacobs. Hristo Drewniak, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jens Flaht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelaziz Moos in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enkelstrotort's goalkeeper Jens Flaht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rainier Pasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Claus Rockstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Spanl's late challenge caught a Schkölen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Spanl helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Enkelstrotort getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Christer Spanl hit a great ball. Jens Flaht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Wyes in the 22nd minute of the match. Andreas Heinkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Enkelstrotort's Dirk Klug got a free kick in the 29th minute. Schkölen's Abdelaziz Moos got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Spanl was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Schkölen booed when Enkelstrotort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Spanl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Schkölen's Hristo Drewniak tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Wyes to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdelaziz Moos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jens Flaht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelaziz Moos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Jens Flaht when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Abdelaziz Moos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luis Wyes sped through Enkelstrotort's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Flaht. Abdelaziz Moos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Flaht having to interfere. If Rainier Pasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Jacobs in the 69th minute of play forced Schkölen's goalkeeper Claus Rockstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk Klug kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Schkölen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvo Domröse to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Enkelstrotort got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Klug. Jens Flaht stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Wyes's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Luis Wyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Flaht having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Folker Gundelach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Flaht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Wyes in the 82nd minute of play. Luis Wyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claus Rockstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainier Pasch in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Andreas Heinkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Flaht acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hristo Drewniak. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Schkölen's goalkeeper Claus Rockstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schkölen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
