In the 7th minute there was a penalty for FC Bayern München. Steffen Goll stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wolfgang Buchen. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Noel Krummacher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goodbye MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Krummacher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lou Jeschke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Goodbye MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jürg Reuter came free, but Wolfgang Buchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jürgen Bollwig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern München's supporters rose to their feet, but Jürgen Bollwig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wolfgang Buchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balder Steigert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jürg Reuter to make the kick off. Wolfgang Buchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürg Reuter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goodbye MZ's Wolfgang Buchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balder Steigert in the 56th minute of play. Wolfgang Buchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürg Reuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Sevim Lauterbach fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goodbye MZ's protests and gave Sevim Lauterbach a yellow card for diving instead. Lou Jeschke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Jürg Reuter fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bayern München's protests and gave Jürg Reuter a yellow card for diving instead. When FC Bayern München's Kaspar Bernwalder in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
