Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dietz Jawurek took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Dummerstorf's zone, Lasse Barthe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bolko Kang came out of the goal and Lasse Barthe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dietz Jawurek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Dietz Jawurek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atze Laurischk during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Lasse Barthe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Sandford booed when FSV Dummerstorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Matthias Allendorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Dummerstorf and the Sandford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, FSV Dummerstorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Allendorf to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, FSV Dummerstorf's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Michael Berresch came free, but Bolko Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Schwarzfischer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lasse Barthe struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bolko Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandford. Dietz Jawurek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edgar Thal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandford's Atze Laurischk got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Atze Laurischk off the ground. After 39 played minutes Sandford got a freekick which was hit by Atze Laurischk. The supporters of Sandford booed when FSV Dummerstorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Allendorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FSV Dummerstorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sandford were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter-Michael Berresch was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, FSV Dummerstorf's Klaus Annilker made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Thal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The corner led Sandford's Blaise Noll to fire away a dangerous shot which Bolko Kang despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edgar Thal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Annilker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Klaus Annilker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Dummerstorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaus Annilker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FSV Dummerstorf's Michael Zschau couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sandford. In the 74th minute, Klaus Annilker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Thal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietz Jawurek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Klaus Annilker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Thal having to interfere. Lasse Barthe charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lasse Barthe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Sandford got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Barthe. The supporters of Sandford booed when FSV Dummerstorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Allendorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter-Michael Berresch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bolko Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dietz Jawurek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
