Spectators: 6679 (Terracing: 5679, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Armin Jahnen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wojtek Pabst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wojtek Pabst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Strohfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wojtek Pabst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfgang Fornahl went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Theodor Korlatzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Alexander Augenstein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wojtek Pabst showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jens Pfaffenberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rafael Deling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Jens Pfaffenberger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Deling, 1-2. Rafael Deling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Leimann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Jahnen scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojtek Pabst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sid Leimann came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the kartofen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Leimann couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Rennebaum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Bluhm to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sid Leimann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Guy Flaht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Alexander Augenstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wojtek Pabst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Nürnberger in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rennebaum FC's Armin Jahnen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wojtek Pabst. That made the score 1-4 after 58 minutes of play. Heiko Strohfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wojtek Pabst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wojtek Pabst didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Wojtek Pabst acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alexander Augenstein. Wojtek Pabst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Fornahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the kartofen FC defense, Armin Jahnen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojtek Pabst. The kartofen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojtek Pabst should have stopped the shot. Rennebaum FC's Rafael Deling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Pfaffenberger in the 77th minute of play. Ashley Berner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rafael Deling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes kartofen FC got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Geisler. Heiko Strohfeldt in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wojtek Pabst, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The kartofen FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rennebaum FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
