Maximilian Schriml made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Axel Kania sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Bentkrögen getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lukas Horlacher hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bentkrögen reached it.
