In the 6th match minute, FR ost was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Hentrop to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Fritz Tabillion shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralph Spegele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Karsten Koss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eike Reifenstein charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eike Reifenstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eike Reifenstein hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Fedor Bieberstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilian Schriml was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Karsten Koss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Schriml having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karsten Koss in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximilian Schriml prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 20 in the game by Efraim Schoel from a close distance when the talented Ralph Spegele managed to make a qualified save. FR ost's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the match, Rubensburg's goal looked a bit too open when Fedor Bieberstein came free, but Maximilian Schriml reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Hentrop in the 25th minute of play forced Rubensburg's goalkeeper Maximilian Schriml to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, FR ost's goalkeeper Ralph Spegele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efraim Schoel. When Fedor Bieberstein came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FR ost fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedor Bieberstein couldn't finish the play. Karsten Koss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Maximilian Schriml tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lehmann kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FR ost's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Miskiewicz came free, but Ralph Spegele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Eike Reifenstein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralph Spegele. The goal made the score 1-1. FR ost's Ralph Spegele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Miskiewicz in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Fedor Bieberstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Schriml saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Rubensburg's Jürgen Miskiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ralph Spegele. Ralph Spegele yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Haimo Koglers short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Maximilian Schriml to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximilian Schriml was a little too slow when Sönke Hummel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-2. Fritz Tabillion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ralph Spegele. FR ost's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute Jürgen Miskiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Spegele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Spegele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eike Reifenstein in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Fedor Bieberstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FR ost's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedor Bieberstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximilian Schriml made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karsten Koss in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rubensburg's zone, Miguel Hentrop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilian Schriml came out of the goal and Miguel Hentrop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FR ost's Karsten Koss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximilian Schriml. That made the score 2-3 after 88 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded FR ost left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rubensburg.
