Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leißling FC's Klaus Figge started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Will Steinmetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Münks's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Leißling FC's attentive Hartwig Kehr managed to snatch the ball when Herbie Jagemann made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Leißling FC's zone, Lukas Cardinale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Steinmetz came out of the goal and Lukas Cardinale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, HSV HAMBURG's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Bruske came free, but Hinrich Stötzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Leißling FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Erik Löning hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Klaus Figge notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of HSV HAMBURG's Hinrich Stötzer. Hinrich Stötzer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the game, Traugott Bausch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leißling FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HSV HAMBURG the free kick. Traugott Bausch kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, HSV HAMBURG's Lukas Cardinale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Traugott Bausch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. Lukas Cardinale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Münks charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Münks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leißling FC booed when HSV HAMBURG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Münks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Münks was the one to do the kick off. Lukas Cardinale struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Will Steinmetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HSV HAMBURG. Leißling FC's attentive Corvinus Schmitt managed to snatch the ball when Herbie Jagemann made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Leißling FC's Klaus Figge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hinrich Stötzer. Hinrich Stötzer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Klaus Figge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hinrich Stötzer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Lukas Cardinale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Will Steinmetz skillfully saved the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Klaus Figge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hinrich Stötzer, 1-4. A hard shot 71 in the game by Klaus Figge from a close distance when the talented Hinrich Stötzer managed to make a qualified save. HSV HAMBURG's players were relieved. Lukas Cardinale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Will Steinmetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute of the match Hartwig Kauth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Will Steinmetz skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Corvinus Schmitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in HSV HAMBURG's zone, Klaus Figge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hinrich Stötzer came out of the goal and Klaus Figge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaus Figge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Figge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Leißling FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
