Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tasso Schöneweiß started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Eike Reifenstein fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rubensburg's protests and gave Eike Reifenstein a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rubensburg getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eike Reifenstein hit a great ball. Nicolas Cochem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Schriml having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Mischa Vinkemeier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sergio Bendel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mischa Vinkemeier in the 13th minute of play. Sergio Bendel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mischa Vinkemeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Nicolas Cochem notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rubensburg's Maximilian Schriml. Maximilian Schriml was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 played minutes Ittersbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Buschmann. In the 26th minute of the match Fritz Tabillion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Bendel skillfully saved the ball. Mischa Vinkemeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Bendel having to interfere. Jürgen Miskiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Sergio Bendel made a huge save. After 34 played minutes Ittersbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Buschmann. In the 35th minute, Fritz Tabillion sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ittersbach FC's Sergio Bendel didn't even have to move. Mischa Vinkemeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Sergio Bendel made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Ittersbach FC's goalkeeper Sergio Bendel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jürgen Miskiewicz. Tasso Schöneweiß struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maximilian Schriml didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ittersbach FC. After 44 minutes, Tasso Schöneweiß mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ittersbach FC and the Rubensburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tasso Schöneweiß hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jürgen Miskiewiczs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Sergio Bendel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 48th minute Tasso Schöneweiß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Schriml saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mischa Vinkemeier to strike the kick off in the second half. Ittersbach FC's Sergio Bendel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Miskiewicz in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Ümit Hasenstab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Bendel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mischa Vinkemeier's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 57th match minute, Rubensburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eike Reifenstein to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 59 in the game by Nicolas Cochem from a close distance when the talented Maximilian Schriml managed to make a qualified save. Rubensburg's players were relieved. Jürgen Miskiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Bendel having to interfere. Rubensburg's Jürgen Miskiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ittersbach FC's zone, Jürgen Miskiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Bendel came out of the goal and Jürgen Miskiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Rubensburg's Akim Breilmann got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Nicolas Cochem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Jürgen Miskiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ittersbach FC's Sergio Bendel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wilfried Kähler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Bendel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mischa Vinkemeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Wilfried Kähler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Ittersbach FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rubensburg had held the ball for most of the match.
