With an extended leg and a bit of luck Habib Knöfel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mischa Vinkemeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubensburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Mischa Vinkemeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Habib Knöfel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mischa Vinkemeier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubensburg's Jürgen Miskiewicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Habib Knöfel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mischa Vinkemeier in the 82nd minute of play. Oscar Schipper charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With splendid footwork Mischa Vinkemeier arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 92nd minute. Mischa Vinkemeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Rubensburg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kelevra Boys CSC.
