Christof Grabowski kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernhard Hofmeister during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mattes Sylvester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TSV Waldbach's Mattes Sylvester got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Larry Riepert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jürgen Melchert was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Karel Sigrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Bartel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Larry Riepert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Yürrübe's Jürgen Melchert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Larry Riepert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jürgen Melchert. Larry Riepert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jürgen Melchert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Riepert in the 23rd minute of play. Mattes Sylvester struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jürgen Melchert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TSV Waldbach. 27 minutes into the match, FC Yürrübe's Karel Sigrist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Bartel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucio Bartel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyron Lux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Larry Riepert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larry Riepert in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürgen Melchert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Larry Riepert made a kick off. If Mattes Sylvester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larry Riepert took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jürgen Melchert. Jürgen Melchert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mattes Sylvester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jürgen Melchert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larry Riepert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürgen Melchert having to interfere. Claudius Fromme kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Yürrübe's goalkeeper Jürgen Melchert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Claudius Fromme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Yürrübe and the TSV Waldbach players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes FC Yürrübe got a freekick which was hit by Claudius Fromme. In the 81st minute, Mattes Sylvester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jürgen Melchert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Riepert, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
