Arno Schlesinger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 minutes, Armin Olbrich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Langhögl and the Blockshagen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Langhögl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Olbrich to maneuver through the defense. If Burkhard Wielert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Langhögl! When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Blockshagen's Alexander Schick got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ronnie Wirtz. Reinhard Lamwersiek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arno Schlesinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Reinhard Lamwersiek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arno Schlesinger having to interfere. A collision led to Blockshagen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sven Kiefer hit a great ball. Arno Schlesinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhard Lamwersiek, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hermann Scheinert kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes, Blockshagen's Alexander Schick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronnie Wirtz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blockshagen reached it. Ricky Schuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinhard Lamwersiek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Manfred Köppchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Reinhard Lamwersiek notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Blockshagen's Arno Schlesinger. Arno Schlesinger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Reinhard Lamwersiek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Arno Schlesinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 69 minutes, Reinhard Lamwersiek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Langhögl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhard Lamwersiek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Langhögl's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Kindler came free, but Ronnie Wirtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Reinhard Lamwersiek made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Blockshagen's Arno Schlesinger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kuno Kindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinhard Lamwersiek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arno Schlesinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Canel in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Langhögl left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blockshagen.
