Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ulfert Noffz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Steven Naber hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Gestewitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tjark Plappert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gestewitz's zone, Nils Scheringer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Heinrich came out of the goal and Nils Scheringer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Schinnenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulfert Noffz in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Döhlen's zone, Ulfert Noffz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Schinnenburg came out of the goal and Ulfert Noffz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ulfert Noffz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Sacher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Christian Heinrich when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Scheringer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Heinrich saved Gestewitz from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Nils Scheringer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Döhlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Scheringer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Scheringer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gestewitz's Christian Heinrich got control of the ball when Hans Sacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gestewitz's goalkeeper Christian Heinrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Ulfert Noffz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gestewitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulfert Noffz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Scheringer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gestewitz's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Scheringer came free, but Christian Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 55 minutes on the clock, Uffe Steinbrück commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Döhlen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute, Albert Linhorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Sacher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Heinrich having to make a save. Christian Heinrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Sacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Döhlen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulfert Noffz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christian Heinrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Sacher in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Theodor Mank shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Heinrich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 71 in the game by Amir Müller from a close distance when the talented Eric Schinnenburg managed to make a qualified save. Döhlen's players were relieved. If Achmed Willer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Heinrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Sacher in the 75th minute of the match. Christian Heinrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonito Kösters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Gestewitz's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Sacher came free, but Christian Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Hans Sacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Döhlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Sacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Bonito Kösters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ulfert Noffz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Sacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Heinrich having to interfere. Bonito Kösters's late challenge caught a Gestewitz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonito Kösters helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gestewitz booed when Döhlen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonito Kösters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppo Wirths took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Schinnenburg. Döhlen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bonito Kösters kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gestewitz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
