The referee ignored Hoyersburg's protests and gave Benedikt Koch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Benedikt Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rainer Stecker made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hoyersburg's Helgi Thierle. Ignaz Dazer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulfert Noffz in the 14th minute of play forced Hoyersburg's goalkeeper Manuel Ratzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amir Müller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ratzel having to interfere. Manuel Ratzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tjark Plappert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Ratzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tjark Plappert in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Gestewitz's Tjark Plappert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 36th minute Ulfert Noffz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Ratzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Ratzel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tjark Plappert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Manuel Ratzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulfert Noffz in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torsten Goiny to make the kick off. In the 95th minute, Amir Müller made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Ratzel. Hoyersburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 98th match minute, Gestewitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tjark Plappert to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gestewitz fully deserved thier win.
